We’re not looking for ‘ordinary’ – we’re on the hunt for a creative, charismatic Business Developer/Account Manager who’s ready to join us. As well as developing creative ideas for new business, you’ll be acting as a key liaison for clients, getting involved with everything from project management to content coordination.
The role is part time (3 days a week). Working from Foundry 17, McCoy’s Arcade, you can enjoy a spacious, contemporary and beautiful working environment with our passionate creative team.

The Role
- Working creatively to win new business, upselling to existing clients and marketing the Studio Illicit brand
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Staying abreast of day to day aspects of a web design and development project, from initial project scoping to delivery
- Taking a ‘hands on’ and organisational approach to web content
- Working closely with the design and development team to ensure projects are on track in timescales and budgets
- Developing excellent ongoing relationships with the client
What you will be doing
- Increasing web sales on the strength of our portfolio, as well as developing new avenues of business though seminars, events, networking and campaigns
- Involvement in marketing and developing awareness of the Studio Illicit brand: offering fresh and creative promotional ideas, organising photo shoots, press/advertising and social campaigns
- Leading consultations with prospective clients, proposing project strategies, specifications and costs
- Developing site maps with the client
- Consolidating web content: offering feedback on submitted copy and images, advising/critiquing and making suggestions where necessary
- Coordinating content creation teams where necessary: arranging photography/filmmaking shoots, content writers and digital marketing campaigns
- Packaging content, site maps and project specifications in a ‘ready to go’ format for the web design and development team
- Regularly updating client on the status of a project
- Notifying clients of changes to project scope and features, related cost implications
