We’ve just put the finishing touches to a smart eight page brochure for coaching company Heads Up (www.ukheadsup.com) and we can’t wait to see the printed result. Heads Up work with education leaders, developing their personal, teamwork and leadership skills to their full potential, which in turn helps to provide the best possible outcomes for schools and children.
Heads Up approached Illicit Web Design requiring a friendly and informal yet completely professional brochure that would speak to head teacher and other education leaders using case studies, infographics, and advice. We happily accepted the challenge of bringing together our illustrative, typographical and design skills to create a brochure that incorporated a lot of information while remaining both stylish and not too overwhelming on the eye.
We developed a ‘classroom’ theme that ran throughout the brochure, making use of handwritten fonts, post-it notes, lined paper and feltboard texture. Photos were framed in polaroids to offer a human, everyday feel. Combined with Heads Up’s green-yellow colour brand, we finished with a consistent look all round.
We’re looking forward to our next design for print project as it’s great to see tangible results!
