Out with the Old… Studio Illicit’s 2021 refresh

It’s all change here at Illicit HQ, where we’re stoked to be unveiling our refreshed brand, website and refurbed offices!

Inspired by a mix of luscious dark foliage and sleazy nightclub aesthetics (to reflect our passion for all things eco and punk), we have concocted a regal green and hot pink palette to replace the monotones that were the basis of our original brand. 

The logo

While we still loved the custom drawn lettering of our wordmark, we were keen to make the logo really pop, so we spun this into a cool, condensed icon using our vibrant new colours. Suffice it to say, we now have a dazzling new imprint to really shout about!

The offices

We couldn’t refresh our brand without giving our offices some much-needed TLC, so black and white minimalism was swapped out for huge jungle plants, dark green walls and bespoke neon signage. The result is a stunning and creatively inspiring new space, plus a healthy new home for our beloved greenery.



The website

Last but not least, we gave our website a radical overhaul, away from dark and grungy chic to a bolder, confident and slicker operation. Attention-grabbing messaging, smooth animation, great UX and beautiful imagery are here to support our portfolio and truly showcase what we can do.



These changes have inspired and rejuvenated us, and created a perfect working environment that reflects the heart and soul of the Illicit brand.
