Exeter-based website designers Studio Illicit are a group of passionate creatives who share a vision of a better future for all. We wanted to put some much-needed positivity back into the world, so, we are excited to introduce… The Illicit Impact!

We’ve launched this brand new initiative with the aim of partnering with one not-for-profit organisation every year, providing free web and design services to help amplify their cause and digital presence.

The Illicit Impact started with Plastic Free Exeter in 2021, when we designed and developed a website – pro-bono – for their crucial vision of ending plastic pollution within our local community. The team at Plastic Free Exeter had the goal of creating a website that heightened the identity of their cause as well as being a hub of educational tips for individuals and businesses that inspire zero waste.

Since this uplifting collaboration, we have made it our mission to help more organisations that are championing kindness … and applying couldn’t be more simple! All we ask is that you:

– Must be a charity or not-for-profit organisation –

– Require a standard website (not eCommerce) –

– Align with our brand ethos –
