About Studio Illicit
Studio Illicit broke the mould from the very start – beginning 15 years ago as a recording studio, formed by three members of a touring punk band. We’re now a small team of nine people working from our contemporary studio offices in the heart of Exeter’s indie quarter, McCoys Arcade. We’re far from the usual corporate web design agency though, and always remember our punk roots by bringing this energy and creativity to every project we take on.
We’re also a company that cares deeply about our social responsibilities, leading by example and setting new benchmarks in low-carbon web development. We make sure to offset our carbon emissions to create an entirely green office while also supporting projects that improve lives and fight climate change.
As an equal-opportunity employer, Studio Illicit is committed to growing an inclusive and diverse workplace where every individual is valued and respected. We believe that diversity in perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences enhances creativity, innovation, and ultimately, the success of our team.
We welcome applications from candidates of all races, ethnicities, genders, religions, and sexual orientations. Our goal is to create a work environment that promotes equal opportunities and ensures that everyone, regardless of their identity, feels supported and empowered to contribute their best work.
Check out our portfolio for some of the brilliant projects we’ve completed recently – from the award-winning Earth Agency to Exploding Bakery, World Extreme Medicine and Code Red.
We boast killer offices, a crew full of fun and energy, lots of great free coffee, regular beer and pizza socials on the company, as well as the chance to work on some awesome projects and grow with a business that is ever-evolving.
